CPD Validation Process
The document below is a compulsory requirement before application for validation of activity. This is only applicable to new CPD Service/Training Providers who have not been allocated a specific SP code. Then complete and return the Application for Verification as an ECSA Service/Training Provider (ECSA ECPD7 Verification as Development Activities Provider).
This is a compulsory requirement stipulated by ECSA.
An audit assessment needs to be completed before you can proceed to the next step. With the submission of this completed document, a certified copy of a valid company registration certificate or equivalent and valid SARS tax clearance certificate needs to be accompanied. A specific SP code will be issued to the Service/Training Provider once ICMEESA has completed the assessment process.

For the validation of CPD activities, the following forms and supporting documents (electronic format) must be received before the validation process will commence.
- Non-Disclosure Agreement
- Application for Approval of a Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Activity (CPD-ECPD2)
- Addendum to CPD-ECPD2
- Addendum to CPD-ECPD2 FillIn Form
- Curriculum Vitae of the presenter(s) including LinkedIn profile address
- Certified copy of presenter(s) identity document
- Full course/event notes which coincide with the program
- Detailed program with the date and time allocation as per the course notes
- Course attendee’s evaluation form
- Attendance certificates issued to the attendees
- Attendance register sample for attendees
- A completed signed attendance register of course/event to be submitted to cpd@icmeesa.org.za (after each course/event)
- List of attendees at previous presentations with the presentation date and place
- Feedback questionnaire sample for attendees
- Brochure with the details of course/event including the cost of course attendance
- ICMEESA proof of payment for course/event valuation
In the event of insufficient information provided for accreditation of activity or the investigation of a complaint, ICMEESA reserves the right to attend this activity at no charge (maximum of two representatives). In addition, penalties may be imposed with regards to the complaint. See our Terms and Conditions.
